Teenage girls should set up an appointment to meet their gynecologist some time between the ages of 13 and 16. Although pelvic exams are usually not required during the first visit, this visit allows a teen to become familiar with the doctor or nurse and establish a medical and sexual history. This is a good opportunity to educate teenage girls about contraceptives and sexually transmitted disease. Once a woman is sexually active, she should begin exams.

Many women will experience leakage of very small amounts of urine on rare occasions. This is normal. But when the amount or frequency of urine loss becomes embarrassing, or causes a woman to avoid activities she would normally enjoy, it is no longer normal, and she should see a doctor for help.
There are many types of contraception, and no single method is the best one for all women. The key to successful birth control is finding the best option for your individual needs. Some methods can provide both effective birth control AND reduce or eliminate other problems, such as cramps, irregular cycles, heavy flow, migraine headaches, and more.
3D Mammogram faqs
A 3D mammogram uses X-rays to create an image of the breast, which exposes you to a low level of radiation. Because a 3D mammogram is usually combined with a standard mammogram, the level of radiation may be greater than a standard mammogram alone.
Reduces the need for follow-up imaging,3D imaging can detect slightly more cancers than a standard mammogram alone, Improves breast cancer detection in dense breast tissue.
3D Mammography is also called digital breast tomosynthesis(DBT).
It is an imaging test that combines multiple breast x-rays to create a three-dimensional picture of the breast. In about the same time as a 2D mammogram lasts, 3D captures multiple image slices of the breast at different angles. These images then create a crystal-clear 3D reconstruction of the breast.
Our professionals are then able to review the digital reconstruction one thin layer at a time, like turning pages in a book. It makes it easier for radiologists to see if there are any areas to be concerned about.
